Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí / Praise the young and they will flourish

S.N Naomh Treasa is a charming rural primary school located between the scenic Cashel Hill and the picturesque Cashel Bay in County Galway.

Here at S.N Naomh Treasa, we create a joyful, caring, and inclusive learning environment where every child is recognised, valued, and supported. Our commitment lies in fostering the holistic growth and well-being of each child through engaging and meaningful learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and instill a lifelong passion for learning.

We deeply appreciate the collaboration among school, home, and community, believing that this partnership is vital for each child's success. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you and working closely with you throughout your child's educational journey at S.N Naomh Treasa!

The Marine Institute

We were delighted to welcome the Marine Institute to the school recently. The children really enjoyed learning about marine life and taking part in the hands-on activities, including using microscopes and getting a close look at different fish species. It was a great opportunity to learn more about our local area and the sea around us. Who knows, we may even have a few future scientists in our midst!

Message from the Principal

Welcome to S.N Naomh Treasa

Dear Parents & Guardians,

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your child to S.N Naomh Treasa.

Our school currently has an enrolment of 33 pupils and a dedicated team comprising two mainstream teachers, one Special Education Teacher (SET), two full-time Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) and one part-time SNA. As a small school, we greatly value the opportunity to get to know each child well and to support them in a caring and personal way.

At S.N Naomh Treasa, we strive to provide a happy, safe and welcoming environment where every child feels valued, supported and at home. As a staff, we are committed to working in partnership with parents and guardians to ensure that each child reaches their full potential in a positive and stimulating learning environment.

We place a strong emphasis on the development of the whole child and aim to nurture pupils who are kind, respectful, confident and willing to do their best. We believe that every child is unique, with their own strengths and talents, and we encourage each pupil to grow and develop in their own way.

We are very proud of our school and, most importantly, of all our pupils. We are fortunate to be part of such a warm, friendly and caring school community, and we look forward to welcoming you and your child to S.N Naomh Treasa.

Buíochas ó Chroí
