St Threasa’s is a charming rural primary school located between the scenic Cashel Hill and the picturesque Cashel Bay in County Galway.

Here at St Threasa’s, we create a joyful, caring, and inclusive learning environment where every child is recognised, valued, and supported. Our commitment lies in fostering the holistic growth and well-being of each child through engaging and meaningful learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and instill a lifelong passion for learning.

We deeply appreciate the collaboration among school, home, and community, believing that this partnership is vital for each child's success. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you and working closely with you throughout your child's educational journey at St Threasa’s!

Message from the Principal

Dear Parents & Guardians,

On behalf of the staff, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your child to our school.  SN Naomh Treasa (also known as St Threasa's NS) currently has an enrolment of 39 pupils, a staff of two mainstream teachers, one special education teacher, two full-time Special Needs Assistants (SNA) and one part-time (SNA).

As a professional body of teachers, the staff are committed to working in partnership with parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential in a happy and stimulating learning environment. Our wish is to educate children so they are able to become balanced, well-rounded, self-confident, happy and cooperative young people. Respect for each individual within the school community is also a core value within St Theresa's NS.

We are very proud of our students and our school, and we sincerely hope that every child will enjoy their time with us.

Jackie Harty, Principal
